Total superannuation assets grew 3.2 per cent in the March quarter 2023 to $3.5 trillion and are 1.1 per cent higher than a year ago.
Among the sectors, industry funds recorded the greatest increase in FUM, up by $55.9 billion (5.1 per cent) in the March quarter to $1.16 trillion. Retail funds grew by $21 billion (3.2 per cent) to $680 billion, public sector funds increased by $18.3 billion (2.9 per cent) to $658 billion, SMSFs rose by $9.9 billion (1.1 per cent) to $890 billion, and the corporate funds was up by $2.1 billion (3.8 per cent) to $57 billion.
