Total superannuation assets grew 2.1 per cent in the June quarter 2023 to $3.54 trillion and are 7.6 per cent higher than a year ago.
Among the sectors, industry funds recorded the greatest increase in FUM, up by $41.1 billion (3.6 per cent) in the June quarter to $1.2 trillion. SMSFs grew by $11.2 billion (1.3 per cent) to $876 billion, public sector funds increased by $10.8 billion (1.6 per cent) to $668 billion, retail funds grew by $9.9 billion (1.5 per cent) to $690 billion, and corporate funds were up $0.2 billion (0.4 per cent) to $57 billion.
