ISA supports the proposals to strengthen the compliance and enforcement framework in the Fair Work Act, however, these reforms will not address the cause of unpaid super at its source. The most effective solution to unpaid super is aligning payments of SG contributions and employees’ wages. As such, ISA commends the federal government for its recent announcement to require employers to pay their employees’ super at the same time as their wages from July 2026.
