Default fund finder
Choosing a default fund is a very important decision as it will play a key part in the quality of retirement for many of your staff. However, there are some important rules in place when it comes to selecting a default fund.
Modern Awards (made by the Fair Work Commission) specify the super fund/s that an employer can choose from to nominate as their company’s default fund. This ruling has been in place for some time now. But from January 1 2014, the rules changed slightly and all employers must ensure that their default fund is now a MySuper product.
The good news is all Industry SuperFunds already have a MySuper product so it’s easy to find a quality super fund for your employees. The tool below will help you find the Industry SuperFund/s listed in your industry’s Modern Award.
This tool provides information in relation to Modern Awards as varied from time to time by the Fair Work Commission and does not take into account any overriding workplace agreement or other industrial instrument that may apply.
